I used to keep mine connected to my F250 Super Duty all of the time, until one night, my wife caught her knee on it in the dark in the carport. That was the same knee she had replaced. She makes a pretty convincing argument when tears are streaming down her face and she is in the process of inventing new swear words.........Needless to say, the ball hitch is now stored behind the bench seat in the cab........
