The Olympics have gone the way of MLB, ML Football, NBA and most other sports other than NHL. They've taken an activity that was created to display the great achievements humans are capable of and turned it into a political statement arena. Sports, as we know it, is dead. Live long Olympics.
Incidentally, the custom of the Olympic torch run through the host country will be next on the chopping block. That was started by the Nazis when the Olympics were held in Berlin and Hitler got embarrassed by Jesse Owens. Once that gets noticed the woke crowd will kill it, too.
