I took this from Dealnews.com

Blue Iris offers downloads of its Blue Iris Surveillance Software Full Version for Windows for $59.95. Coupon code "PERS-LQTQ-FOUR" cuts it to $29.97. That's $30 off and the lowest price we could find. It features support for up to 64 cameras, e-mail, instant messaging, and phone alerts

I hope this helps those that are in the market such as myself to purchase.... Enjoy!

Note: The coupon code is only supposed to be used for V3 upgrades to V4...since Ken did not use distinct codes, they are using the upgrade codes for new purchases.

No, however, that is the same code offered when you hit upgrade on BI3..thats how I know its for upgrades.

Coupon code no longer works... guess I should purchase before sharing here...
Im guessing that it was pulled because the developer noticed what folks were doing..this was posted on slickdeals and others sites as well.
If you have V3 i can assure you that you will get the discount.

I'm new to IP cameras and thought I'd share a deal... missed it while I was sharing I suppose... any connection with Ken to get the full version for $30... ?

I dont blame you for sharing, there was no way for you to know...I have no direct connection to Ken..I do know that he offers a discount to V3 users or current users who need a second installation. Test the software, if you like it, 60 dollars is really a bargain.

Yeah, $30 for the full version sounds like the bargain... when I can use $30 towards cameras. I understand that you're referring to the well written software, I'm looking at my wallet. Haha!

Its all relative..you can buy cameras from a single brand like dahua and hikvision and use their VMS free...you can pay xprotect or exacq 50-150 PER camera...
There is a free version of xprotect as well..but is limited to 5 days of storage and 8 cams..
Axxon next is free for 16 cams and i believe has a 1tb storage limitation...

While we are at it there is one called Genius vision that has a free community edition with relatively few limits ... 16 cameras I think. I tried it a long time ago but settled on Blue Iris because Blue Iris' web interface was more open and modifiable.

If someone wants the ver 3 I bought that not 30 days ago and still had to pay again for ver 4.... so I would sell my v3 license for 20 bucks. I don't need 2 lic....

If you bought your license after 12/1/14 and paid more than 40 dollars you are entitled to a free upgrade to V4.

I was off few days I bought v3 11/14 @ 49. And then be 12/24 @ 30 so 80 bucks in 40 days. For a upgrade. Not big deal just and offer if someone can use it. I dont need the v3 lic any longer.

So can V3 users still get half price upgrade??
Yes you should be able to hit the update button and get a code...dont do any upgrades at that time...just save the code..then go to the website and buy v4 and enter code..download BI4 and use the code.

Yes, the process still works. I upgraded the server at my mom's yesterday. I was a bit concerned that she would not get the upgrade price after reading this thread, but there were no issues. I upgraded my system on day one...
