I've been running Frigate with a mPCIe Coral Module in an LXC under Proxmox for some time. I've mainly using the integration for Home Assistant to view video and also to send me video from the doorbell camera via Signal Messenger when the doorbell is rung.

I recently noticed that the the native Frigate UI is due to be rebuilt for the next 0.14 release with details here
I've just pulled the dev build and got it up and running on my machine and its looking a lot more slick than the old one as well as feeling more responsive. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has given this a go too.

There is a guided demo linked on the link above, here is a quick screen shot from the demo:

Great isn't it? I grabbed the first beta release last night just after it was released.

The setting of zones, alerts and notifications work pretty well.

Have you tried hooking up double take for facial recognition? Thats the next test of my Linux and Docker skills!

I'm running frigate as well. I'll look into doubletake.

Regarding frigate 0.14, how does zone/mask creation compare to 0.13? Can you create and save the zones/masks all in the ui, or do you still have to copy/paste the yaml?

Here are the docs around masks. Masks | Frigate

Assuming Im talking about the same thing then I set mine up in the UI and it saved the points into the file

Yeah, you have to copy/paste it into the config.yml in 0.13, but I believe in 0.14 you can just save it from the UI and it writes it directly into the config.yml

I don't think the documentation has been completely fixed for 0.14 yet, there is still a lot of documentation from 0.13 in there.

Ahh i get you. Yes, for me in 0.14 i just do the clicks on the UI and it does update the yml files.
