FPS Dropped Dramatically?

Hey

So I have a TrendNet TV-IP310Pi which I understand is just a rebranded Hikvision.

It was working fine for about a week, pushing out 25-30fps happily to Blue Iris.

A few days ago it suddenly dropped to 3.79Fps maximum.
If I reboot the camera it jumps to 15-20fps initially but then creeps back down to about 3.79.

I am plugged into the same switch on the same subnet so traffic is L2 and not routed.
I have rebooted the switch and checked the ports, all 100Mb Full Duplex.

The only thing I haven't done is unscrew the camera from the wall, bring it inside and try a different cable.

Seems odd though.

Anybody got any ideas?

If I look through the Web GUI, its definitely about 3-4Fps so its not just BI misreporting or having an issue.

Cheers

Hmmmm I have just realised I was looking at the FPS at night, during the day (at the moment at least) its back at 30Fps.

Would it really drop to nearly a tenth at night?
3.79Fps at night make it almost pointless having the night mode!

Cheers

Adjust your minimum shutter speed to 1/30 sec. I think you will find that it is set to 1/4 of a second at the moment, giving you the maximum frame rate of 4 per second.

Hi

It was set to 1/4 which sounds about right, I have changed it to 1/30.

Will check tonight to see if that works.

Thanks
