I'm trying to reinvigorate an old Flir/Lorex camera system. The camera in question is a Flir branded DNE12TL2.
It won't do dhcp, but wireshark tells me that it wants to be 192.168.1.108. It doesn't serve port 80 (http), but at one point, I got it to give me a telnet prompt and tried the login/password admin/admin, which was refused.
Plugged it in a couple of hours later and no telnet / no responding to pings as 192.168.1.108. Now, (wireshark indicates that) it seems to only want to get a file that starts with "upgrade_info" via tftp from 192.168.254.254.
Can this camera be recovered? Is there a way to reset it to factory condition so that I can start over? I hate thinking that I'll have to get into its awkward spot on the wall, remove it, and get another in there.
