I am hoping one of you gurus can help shed some light on this.
As the title suggests my camera will take a snapshot using the following string:
But subsequent snapshots have the same image and time stamp.
This is an older 720p IP cam of the generic (read cheap Chinese) variety. The camera is adequate for my video needs with BI, but I would like to be able to capture snaps from time to time with a secondary HA program.
Blue Iris is able to capture snaps and they are updated correctly. Does BI do this using just the video stream?
The cogs are turning as I am writing this. I wonder if it could be because BI is actively logged into the camera and it may be only able to handle one user at a time. Would there possibly be another snapshot address? I discovered the snapshot address using Wireshark and the Onvif Device Manager.
