Hello,

I'm looking for a compatible recent hacked English firmware version for a Chinese DS-7604N-E1/4P.

Is anyone able to supply?

What's the current version of firmware?
If its old enough, it might be that the bootpara data is still in plaintext such that the device could need converted to EN from CN.

With that older device and firmware, you can fix the NVR - with a permanent conversion from a CN model to EN.

If you can carry out this conversion, there will be no need for any hacked firmware :

I think you'll get a good result.
The newer firmware (maybe 3.4.92 and on, I'm not exactly sure) encrypts the bootpara data if it finds it in plaintext.
That makes it more difficult, but not impossible, to modify the data to convert the device to EN.
