Hi I am hoping for some help. I am currently switching away from the ring doorbell and floodlight cam.

I have successfully installed the reolink POE doorbell that I am very happy with.

The flood light camera replacement on the other hand is disappointing.

I have replaced it with a full colour POE ip camera that has a 2.8mm lens. It just doesn't compare field of view wise. I enclose a screen shot of both to compare.

Is there a POE full colour camera with a comparable field of view? Or atleast some lens spec to look out for?

Thanks
Paul

The Ring is more like a fisheye lens.

This one would give you 180 degrees, but it cant see IR, color only which means either you leave lights on or use its built in white light LEDs

Hi thanks for the suggestions. I am just as concerned by the height of the view. I.e you can see all of.my garden with the ring cam. I hope I am not going to be out done by ring.....

What is your goal with that camera?
Do you just want to see that something happened, or do you expect to get a Face ID?

The main goal was to view the garden with motion alerts. I will also have a full colour camera above each door for better id quality
