Interesting case of a teen who apparently has similar glasses and facial shape being misidentified at a SKATING RINK.

If this teen was white, you would not even hear about it. Another BS story.
Not sure how it's BS--- it IS a tech FAIL though, and those at the rink never should have trusted that technology to the extent they did. What difference does her race make?
 
A previous thread on facial recognition....and why we shouldn't put much stock in facial recognition at the moment on cameras around our house LOL. If these systems installed in professional settings with enough light fail, what makes us think it will work on our house at 2am in the dark LOL.
