This is nearly 2 hours condensed into 33 seconds. Recorded with Blue Iris and timelapsed/merged/stacked with ffmpeg.

This was my first large export from Blue Iris, and it surprised me just how limiting the export options are. The only no-reencode option is AVI. Unfortunately AVI format has a 1 GB size limit and that wasn't going to cut it for these clips. So I had to let Blue Iris re-encode to h264/mp4 and that is done in a modal dialog box, preventing you from accessing anything else in Blue Iris until it is done exporting. Not the best user experience, especially considering VLC could not play back the resulting mp4 files until I had sent them through yet another re-encode process with ffmpeg!

Once I had both clips exported, I converted them from 4 FPS source material to 30 FPS timelapse videos running at 200x normal speed. I manually synchronized them as well as I could and then stacked the two clips into one video.
