Hey Andy,

I've heard about this before, but this came to my attention again today.
The European Union will implement new VAT rules for e-commerce coming into the EU.
More info here: Modernising VAT for cross-border e-commerce - Taxation and Customs Union - European Commission

Basically targeting cheap stuff from Aliexpress/Banggood/Gearbest/Alibaba etc. going into the European countries.
For instance; at this moment everything we Europeans buy from China has no extra cost if it's under €22.

Starting July 1, 2021 (this was originally January 1, 2021) every single item from €0 and up will be taxed.

Also new rules will be coming for packages going from China to one EU country and then send from that country to the destination country.
As far as I know; this is your way of the shipping to EU buyers.
Sellers from outside the EU can use the One Stop Shop method for items of €150 or less.

I'm sure you've heard about this already, but how will these new rules affect your business? In particular the shipping to the EU countries?

I saw this old post and thought I'd chime in. The new VAT rules for e-commerce are definitely making waves. It really simplified managing inventory and compliance, which helped a lot. The software streamlines order handling and automates processes, making it easier to deal with complex rules. Staying organized and adaptable is key when facing these changes.

How have the new rules impacted you?
