Hi Everyone.
Im getting the above message with one of my 3 cams (IPC-HDW5231R-Z ). At night the camera's IR is working so there is a connection and being powered. I've checked the switch by alternating the connections of my other cams, ie plugging in a working cam into the socket where the problem cam normally resides and also plugging the cam with no signal into a socket which is receiving a signal from a working cam so I guess its not the switch. Where the problem cam is plugged in I'm getting a steady light on left hand side of socket but not the flickering on the right hand side that other working cams are plugged. What this leads me to is the cable which runs from the cam to the switch which is about 30m ( about 100ft) On inspection the cable appears intact ( power is going through) but I guess there could be an internal break.
Is there anything else I can check before replacing the cable ( not easy unfortunately)
Thanks for any replys
