EmpireTech NVR 32Channel NVR NVR5232-16P-4KS2E is NOT showing the IPC-T2431T-AS cameras connected via POE switch.

Hello experts,

EmpireTech NVR 32Channel NVR NVR5232-16P-4KS2E is not showing the IPC-T2431T-AS cameras connected via POE switch. I tried 2 different POE switches and no luck. I tried resetting the cameras and rebooting the NVR. NVR has 16 ports and it only shows 11 cameras in Live mode that are directly plugged into NVR.

The switch cannot connect to a POE port - it needs to connect to the LAN/WAN port of the NVR.

You will then need to manually enter the cameras into the NVR as they will be on a different IP address subnet than what the NVR is looking for.
