I bought 2 Empire Tech IPC-T54IR-AS cams last week. Been working fine for about a week but this morning one Cam factory reset itself and needed to be initialized... is this normal behavior? Trying to figure out what happened. I do have automatic updates enabled. Maybe one camera updated? Just trying to figure out if there's a potential issue with the Camera. Sucks I have to go through and re set up all my configs and ai commands. Is there a way to backup the cameras config for quick restore if this happens again? It's POE about a 25ft run. There is one clean splice in the cable run after the power inserter. Ran fine for about a week.

Is it connected to the internet? I am guessing it is since you said you have auto update on. If so it might be hacked.
I have never experienced this and the only times we see posts like this are hacked cameras.
And best practice is to not auto update these devices.

Is that inbound access (by port forwarding or UPnP) or outbound only, such as for an NTP server?
I have upnp disabled on my network. I use Tailscale to connect to it. When I saw the post yesterday about them having internet access I started thinking why do they have access they don't need it and I blocked internet access to my cameras at the router level
