Email setup not working with DS-2CD2642FWD-IZS

I've got a DS-2CD2642FWD-IZS with firmware V5.5.82 build 190220 that i can't get email setup. Keep getting device error.
I'm using the same settings which work for my DS-2CD2032-I with firmware V5.4.5 build 170123.
Any thoughts why?

All the google search hits I looked at suggest that (just like other email providers) charter.net requires SSL/TLS and port 587.
I'd be surprised if any email provider is using plaintext access with no authentication these days.
Despite what you say about the DS-2CD2032-I

Agree with @alastairstevenson your smtp requires authentication. insert your email username and pw and it should work.

It's working now.
On the 2032, i didn't need to input receiver's name for it to work, but on the 2642 I put in receiver's name and it worked.
Authentication isn't checked and username and PW not inputted on either Camera.
I have no idea why doesn't need it but it works.

Neither do I.
I thought unauthenticated email relays were like hen's teeth these days - non-existent!

edit Maybe you have a static public IP address and it's white-listed.
