DVR not loading only Power and HDD lights on

Hi Guys

I have a Hikvision iDS-7208HUH-K1 DVR that will not load up. When powered on the LAN lED light flashes and that is it, nothing else.
Any help or pointers would be appreciated....

Got my lights mixed up. The Power and HDD light are constantly on, however nothing on the display

You might try another power supply.

I lost 2 wall warts (power supply) in the last year, both after a thunder storm.

Power supply appears to be OK, however, I will try another one just in case..

do you hear a click sound after 20 seconds of the unit being powered? is the infra red light working on the mouse to indicate its getting power?
