Hi,

First sorry for my bad english I'm french.

I put the wrong firmware to an NVR DS-7608N-E2 the firmware is DS-76xxNI-E1(E2)P_USA_Firmware_V3.4.96_181107.
So it boot, beep 15times then reboot.
When I try TFTP update it doesn't find the client.
Server 192.0.0.128
I tried a ping to 192.0.0.64 and it's work.

Any sugestion ?

That's the "!!!!!!!you Device is illegal, Please call factory!!!!!!" complaint when EN firmware is applied to a CN NVR.

If the NVR is old enough that the hardware descriptor block in the flash memory that holds the language info is still in plaintext, you should be able to convert to EN with this method :

Awright so, I was scared it was the only solution. So I have to find this convertor, not easy.
