DS-7604NI-E1/4P/A add more cameras

Hi guys,

does someone of you know, whether it is possible to modify the DS-7604NI-E1/4P/A to have the ability to add more ip cameras?
It is limited to 4 and I would like to add a 5th camera which is connected to my network.

When I try to add it, I get the following message "can't add more ip cameras".

You are limited to only 4 channels with that model.

I was in the same situation as you are and last night I did some experimenting with IVMS-4200, I was able to add a 5th Camera on the IVMS Software, The Camera had a SD Micro mini slot so I added a 64 GB Sd Card and now I'm able to view all my cameras on the IVMS Software and whenever I need to remote playback all I do is connect straight to the camera via my LAN Example: 192.168.1.XXX in the Browser. Im soon going to upgrade to a 8 Channel NVR but in the mean time this should okay for a while
