First question. Is $500 a good price?

Second question. Does the auto tracking work well?
 
If the price is good or not depends where you're getting it from, which region. Locally or from China, Chinese or international version?

Funnily enough I got a quote from a Chinese reseller for a de-2de7184 yesterday which I'm assuming is a very simiar model. Price is $372 excluding shipping, chinese model with english firmware.

Does the seller seem reliable? The price is suspiciously low tbh unless its sold as used or a chinese version.

In Europe the trade price for this camera ex vat equates to $750
