I am considering the purchase of the DS-2DE4A425IW-DE.
The Spec Sheet says: Angle of View, Horizontal field of view: 57.6° to 2.5° (wide to tele); vertical field of view: 34.4° to 1.4° (wide to tele); diagonal field of view: 64.5° to 2.9° (wide to tele)
When I go to IPVM Camera Calculator V3 and select that camera it makes you choose one of those AoVs from the spec sheet. So if you zoom all the way in on something 2kft away the target resolution is different if you choose 57.6-2.5 option vs 34.4 - 1.4 option or rather 2.5 vs 1.4 degrees.
I'm confused though. To me according to the spec sheet if you zoomed all the way in you would have a FOV encompassing 2.5 HFOV + 1.4 VFOV + 2.9 DFoV.
Would I be correct in assuming the IPVM folks misinterpreted the specs to mean 3 different lens options with 3 different horizontal FOVs?
