So only a few things come to mind. But here is an idea. If the camera is running right now, Log into the cameras WebUI, Then do a Manual Reboot and see if the system come back online with good running setup. If it does then there might be an issue with your power supply and the camera is not starting up after a power fail or not intended reboot and when it is starting to start with current set up it fails and then the system restores the back up..
Some other things to look over, Make sure there is no damage to the PCB, Related to the Reset button, as some camera not all but some are setup to press reset while power up to do a Factory Reset from a fresh hidden part of the cameras NAND..
Also could be that the part of the Memory that normally stores the cameras setup has been damaged and when camera starts it tries to load but fails so it gets a backup to restore the system..
