Hi,

I have tried almost all firmwares I found here and on hkvision site, but cant get camera to work. I always get message:

Initramfs unpacking failed: junk in compressed archive
Freeing initrd memory: 4096K
[ kernel version: svn-69900 ]

Tftpserv successfully stores the image, but it does not boot. Camera is only running min-system.

Downgrader I have found here does not work either. Have no idea what to do... SADP tool shows region RR, parameters in mtdblocks(5,6) are 02. Tried changing but no luck.

I believe that's a checksum problem in mtdblock6.

As you are able to operate on mtdblock6, consider fixing this up with the 'enhanced mtd hack' which will convert it to English and then be fully upgradable.
But if firmware of 5.4.0 or higher has ever been tried, you'll also need to do the 'brick-fix' to deal with the downgrade block first.
