Hi guys just plugged the cam into the hik nvr (ds-7608ni-e2/8p) and the cameras mic can be heard on my ivms-4500 app once I disabled the noisy pir alarm. Problem is the cameras speaker won't pick up anything I talk into my phone at all? What have I done wrong? Any help would be great I've enabled my mic to be used in the app on my iPhone but nothing?????
 
Ok so the speaker will work if I hook directly to the cam via virtuall host but won't work if just on the nvrs ui nor the app, am guessing the nvrs the issue? Anyone have any ideas I did set both streams to audio/video and g711ulaw is set in audio. Hope I get it operational otherwise this cams pointless arggghhh
 
Anyone? Is it just this camera or will I struggle to get two way audio through my nvr at all?
