Received the new cameras and not having much luck with setting up face recognition. I seemed to enable everything in Hikvision NVR that relates to it, but no alerts being generated. Is there any recommended settings or instructions how to set it up? Thanks!

It's only face detection NOT recognition. You need to enable it in the camera first, as by default the VCA is set to Smart Event. Once enabled you'll only have basic events and not smart events.
Login to the cameras webpage and go to System > System Settings > VCA Resource and enable it there. The camera will reboot. Then re enable anything vi at the NVR as usual.
