Hi,

I upgraded the firmware of my DS-2CD2383GO-I cameras to 5.5.83_190221 but now I can't view the cameras on my NVR (DS-7608NI-K2/8P) or the iVMS-4500 app.

Just tried to view the cameras via the NVR but it's states "No link" for all the camera and it's stuck on that page - can't do anything with the mouse.

What do I need to do guys to get the cameras back on, please help.

Thanks

This issue?

Or just the one camera not connected and the rest OK?

Suggestion:
Use SADP with the PC connected to an unused NVR PoE port and see if the camera appears in the found list.
If it does - check if the IP address matches that set for the NVR PoE channel it's plugged in to.
If not - set the IP address to the correct value with SADP.

I have managed to get in to the NVR now, but I still can't view all my cameras. How do I add them back?

For all the cameras I have a and yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside in the 'Status' column.
Sure, but presumably they show in SADP when the PC is hooked up to an unused NVR PoE port?
And if so, do their IP addresses match those that the NVR PoE channel is configured to expect the camera on?

and one of my cameras IP address is: 192.168.254.2
Based on your NVR screenshot - that's the Front Door camera.
Is it plugged in to NVR PoE channel number 1?
To be sure which camera that is - unplug the cable in channel 1 and refresh SADP, see which camera disappears.
You need to ensure the camera IP addresses as found by SADP match those of the channels the cameras are plugged in to.

Stray thought - which I should have asked earlier - and for which apologies - by any chance have you unplugged the cameras, and reconnected the cables in different ports from where they started?

I have two NVRs???
What you don't have is the NVR PoE interface on 192.168.254.1
Check the NVR network settings for the 'internal NIC' and see what IP address it's set to.

And have you hooked up an NVR PoE port to your router?
The 192.168.1.102 address would not normally show.

No, I didn't unplug any of the cables, I just upgraded the camera firmware and then I couldn't view the cameras.

I have taken the cable from port 1 and Front Door camera is now not showing in SADP.

OK, that's good.
All your cameras are listed with their correct IP addresses, based on your NVR screenshot.
But what I think is wrong is the IP address for the NVR 'internal NIC'.
Check the NVR network config screen.
The NVR LAN interface will show as 192.168.1.102
But what is shown for the NVR 'Internal NIC' interface?
I believe it should be 192.168.254.1

But the common factor is that all the cameras had their firmware updated.
And now none of them are connecting.
I'd be surprised if that suddenly made those cameras incompatible with the NVR.
It's definitely a real puzzle.

I can't connect to the camera's via the NVR...

Is there any other way to downgrade the camera firmware back to the previous one?

I have the DS-7616NI-K2/16P and cameras on 5.5.83, all good. My NVR is on v3.4.99. What is your NVR firmware currently on Frank?
