DS-2CD2342WD-I IR settings

I have a couple of DS-2CD2342WD-I cameras,due to good led street lights where i live i have turned the night mode off and get a pretty decent image in colour during darkness.
My question ,is there anyway to keep the camera on daylight setting but have the infra turned on light turned on as i feel seeing the red light on the camera at night time will be a detterent to people as they may think my cameras are fake as during darkness theres no visible IR on them.

is there a problem with Nightmode then? I know on my dome i have to turn it off as well due to the proximity of street lighting and dome reflection? But you haventy got a dome so why have you turned it off? too bright?

Just prefer to have a colour image at night instead of the black and white one,but would like the IR light left on as a deterent
