Ds-2cd2342

Hi all

i was looking to get another couple of ds-2cd2332 here in the uk but the 4mm models are all out of stock and have been for some time. I have seen it mentioned to consider the ds-2cd2342 instead as a replacement and it has the bonus of being 4MP. The prices are the same so just wondering if this ds-2cd2342 is the replacement to go for?

is the ds-2cd2332 being phased out over the ds-2cd2342?

The UK is completely out of stock of 4mm DS-2CD2332-I? What? No it's not. I just checked 3 or 4 places and they all had 4mm.

If the prices are the same then there is little reason not to get the DS-2CD2342WD-I

A few place I used before don't have them and I was getting them for £135 inc vat and any that do are far too expensive at over £150 inc vat.

The DS-2CD2342WD-I is less than £150 inc vat and and a bonus when I claim the vat back so if there are no real difference apart from the MP, I'll go for it.
