ds-2cd2332-1 and 7108N mismatched language problem

I've got the ports right just no live view. In the config it says Offline(Language version mismatch)

Do I need to update my NVR firmware?
Camera firmware is 5.2.5 141201
NVR firm is 3.0.16 150617
 
So it looks like from what I'm reading it's a firmware problem with the NVR. The seller is no longer in business. Am I screwed?
 
I'd bet a dollar it's a region mismatch problem. Chinese region NVR and international English version camera. You might get a 3335-I working with it. You won't be able to update the hacked firmware in the NVR even if the seller were still around. If the 3335-I didn't work, you could still use both cameras with a computer-based NVR system.
 
Hi use the firmware below in my signature, you will have to tftp in onto your nvr. From there you can up date to the latest firmware only via the Web upgrade only. your NVR will remain in English.
It best to make a backup copy of your nvr settings after the upgrade and keep them safe, because if you restore defaults your nvr will become Chinese again.

Note: there is nothing wrong with your kit and both work 100% fine together.
