i have tried every combination to set up my email alerts, none works. Does the camera DDNS have anything to do with the email not working? I can view the camera on my iPhone and blue iris using my DDNS. any suggestions?

After you enter all info (your e-mail SMTP server logon, password, port, etc. and destination e-mail) and perform a "Test", what are your results?
Are using a G-mail account?

Log into your Google account and configure to allow access by less secure apps as instructed here.
Make SMTP port = 587, make encryption = TLS
If available. enable "STARTTLS"
Insure IVP4 subnet mask on cam and PC = 255.255.255.0
Try "test"
