Bought these cameras 2 years ago and have only gotten around to installing them now.
Firstly I have been looking over this site and I appreciate there is already alot of info out there about getting this firmware changed to a 5.2.0 English via tftp auto updater (which interestingly is no longer available at hikvision.com)

When I have the tftpserv.exe executed, and following the instructions provided: with the camera plugged into the laptop, with wifi off and the ip settings 192.0.0. 128 subnet 255.255.255.0, firewall off, turn power off and on again to camera, wait 5 mins and nothing happens....then try crossover cable..nothing happens
I'm using windows 10 64bit and I noticed most of the info was written back in 2012/13 so is it a windows 7-10 issue?
