While I don't have any sort of video doorbell (nor do i intend to) I know some of you do and are interested in developments and ideas.

Find attached a link to what seems to be a different concept. It's also worthwhile noting this is a promotion and it could well be a load of sh1t.

Right a qr code that activates some app that sends you a message.

You could put a note on the door that says, "text me at xxx.xxx.xxxx" and accomplish the same thing without paying $12.

You just got me thinking. It wasn't that long ago it was customary in phone boxes or toilets of ill repute to find notices to call me on xxxxxxxxxx for a good time. Depending on where you place your sticker this has the potential to be a user friendly quick action grindr

Besides making it easy for someone to knock on one's backdoor can anybody think of any other potential uses
