Does the hikvision password reset tool still work

Trying to reset the password on a NVR and a camera with SADP tool but was not having much luck with the online tool hikvision password reset tool and was not sure if I was using it wrong or if only works on older versions.
Cam:
software- 5.7.3
model- 2CD2743G2

NVR:
software 4.31.102
model- 7616NI-Q2

for the cam you can try with watchfull_IP rce script or xml reset via local distributer

NVR i believe its only xml reset method via local distributer.

Do you know where can I get the watchtful_IP rce script. I found the write up but it did not explain how to do it.

Was not able to get it to work but my firmware and camera shows up on the list of builds it should work against, Is there anything special I am supposed to do?

--shell cmd will grant u entry, inside you will see more commands.

You can run paramReset, it will make your camera state from active to inactive

No luck, I keep getting could not verify if vulnerable or cannot establish a connection. I do get an ETag if that means anything

i believe you are running post fix firmware, that's why u cant. Meaning your firmware is newer than 2021. You can check that by looking at build number
