Does Aliexpress charge sales tax?

I have found that AliExpress adds tax once I've added payment information.
This is New Zealand tax, don't know about USA. But AliExpress can add it.

EU will pre-pay tax on any item within 150usd. Exceed 150usd will not charge.
US, Australia and UK all will pr-pay tax on all the orders. maybe just buy directly no need to pay tax.
For US we can ship directly from local warehouse, so won't be a big problem.AU always no need to pay any tax.
Canada we now also have local warehouse, so can do local shipping no tax.
