I was noticing my folder for BI log files has 3 years of monthly files adding up to 241 MB. I have plenty of free space so it's not really a problem, I guess I have a touch of OCD and tend to clean out unnecessary flies sometimes. I was just curious if others kept their log files forever or cleaned them out occasionally.

If you do Plate Recognizer for LPR, it keeps the logged plates in the files. Might be useful someday if you need to go back and look one up.
You could use 7zip to add all the old log files to a .7z archive and it will shrink down to no more than a few megabytes. .7z compression is typically a LOT more effective than regular .zip compression on highly repetitive text files like this.
