Hi all . Working on new dahua dmss app i thought that the new one button arm and disarm will perfect for the notifications as arm the house or office after leaving and disarm as you there, but it seems that it doesbt work for me. I disarm and still get notifications. I have a tioc camera connect to nvr poe built in and set ivs rule directly from camera via web but the disarm button not working. Anyone has any idea?

Also when im login to my account in dmss i can set notifications only for smd motion detection i cant set AI analysis

Hello guys
the same thing happens to me, arm and disarm, nothing changes.
After subscribing to the alarm, nothing changes when I disarm

Disarm or arm only work with active deterrence cameras i found and arm and disarm only the light or the siren. Notifications has to enable from notification section on dmss

I didn't know that the arm and disarm option was only for active deterrence cameras.
However, after several tests, the same notification option is disabled, I am receiving movement notifications.
I don't understand how this works, it would be so simple, if it works as an alarm, when a person leaves home, activates it and when he gets home, he turns off notifications.

In the P2P option on the phone, I don't have access to the notifications icon. I can only activate the alarm, but whenever I disable it, it loses the settings of the cameras I selected to have motion alarm.
If I activate the dahua account by email, I already have access to the notification icon, but if I turn it off, I still receive movement messages.
Does anyone notice this?

Yes same here it was after the last update of dmss. I think this is an issue that must be fix. I delete the device and log off and add it again.

I read somewhere the intent of the arm/disarm was so that people could walk around their house, play in backyard, etc. without having the active deterrence alarm going off. It is simply an easier way to disarm that alarm and type of camera and nothing to do with notifications, which is why you all are still getting notifications on your mobile devices.

Don't you have problems with notifications?

P2p . When add the device via login to account always get notification. When i log out i get then when set the notifications

I am also preferring to use P2P.
For account login, I also receive a lot of notifications.

And how do you configure P2P notifications on your phone?

Don't you have problems with notifications?

I moved on to Blue Iris as P2P and other such methods are security risks, so I do not use DMSS anymore. When I got my active deterrence camera I saw documentation somewhere that said they added this arm/disarm feature to DMSS, which would be nice to easily disarm the audible alarm.

So you don't use any apps on your phone right now?

I now use Blue Iris and OpenVPN back into my home network when away from home so that my cameras are isolated from the internet. You can do that with either a VLAN or dual NIC arrangement. You could OpenVPN with DMSS as well and did that when I only had one camera, but after you add a few, the DMSS platform is clunky and hard to navigate quickly.

I have a VPN, but it is for other situations. I haven't tried it for the recorder. I left hikvision because I didn't receive notifications, now at dahua I get notifications when I don't want to ... Lol

Yeah, that VPN is different and will not work - that VPN is probably one that hides your IP address. You need a VPN that takes you back into your home network and IP range and not a VPN to hide your IP for Netflix and porn LOL :p

My VPN is just for p##n and football
Now I'm only concerned with having the notifications working, only when I want to.
Because if I don't want notifications, I have to delete the notification settings from the phone, subscribe to Alarm.
