Different record and alert sensitivity settings?

Is there an easy way to set different motion sensitivity settings for recording and alerts for the same camera? For example, it would record video when motion was detected on the driveway but only alert if the motion was close to the house.
Currently I'm trying this with two different instances of the same camera with each having different zones set; but I'd rather not have the same view showing twice for the camera.

You can use IVS rules to set that up if your camera have it. You can have different setting for every IVS rules for different areas.

FWIW, you can "hide" either one of the cameras and it will still perform it's function.
