DHI-VTO2111D-P-S2 to open gates

I am looking to use DHI-VTO2111D-P-S2 to open my swing gates when card is detected.
The swing gate controller switch is 24v DC. Can I use terminals NO and COM as a dry switch to achieve this?
I can get continutiy on my multimeter between these terminals when rfid card is detected

yes. NO and COM terminals. You may or may not need to adjust the strike time. Depends on the gate controller's open button operation.
