The short of the long of it. We purchased a home with cameras already installed using a NVR which was built buy a company whom is no longer in business. I am replacing one camera did some research and purchased the following:
Dahua Technology 1A404XBNR 4MP Outdoor Mini PTZ Network Camera

We are running BI. I am trying to initialize wherein I have to first login to the camera systems setting on first setup so that BI will recognize it on our network. I have poe injections and two 12 port switches. I only have a MacBook to work with but can gain access to a Dell if need be to get this done.

Could someone please guide me as to how to be able to access the default IP address of this camera. The default out of the box is 192.168.1.108.

Please help lol

If your home router is handing out IP addresses in the range of,,,for example, 192.168.0.1 thru 192.168.0.254, then you have a network conflict with the camera. You might need to use a Dell and static address it as 192.168.1.100, the plug it directly in to the cam( cam would need POE injector) or a put both devices on a POE switch. and find it there by typing 192.168.1.108 into a browser.

Is the camera by ay chance plugged into an NVR of some kind? Cuz an NVR would assign it a 10.10.x.x address.
