DH_IPC-HX5(4)(3)XXX : new fw release V2.800.0000000.39.R.220726, any experience?

Hi Forum members,

It looks like Dahua released new firmware: R.220726 for models including IPC-HDW3441T-ZAS

Does anyone have any experience with this new FW version build date 2022-07-26?

My current release installed is: V2.800.0000000.37.R, Build Date: 2022-01-18
( This fw version runs for about 3 months before it slows down to a crawl and then needs a manual reboot, typical pattern
for a memory leak bug or bugs).

Just updated all 8 cams on new install this morning, was successful but no idea what the fixes were. I’ve bitched many times over the years to their engineers about having more readily available logs for FW updates. As a rule of thumb I never update anything, whether cameras or computers, that’s working, just got a little bored this morning!

@ludshed , thank you, I have not observed any change after this update. Totally agree it would be great if Dahua would take the initiative to start publishing some very simple release notes together with each new firmware file. That is not exactly rocket science... It is a best practise in the software industry for over 40 years to publish release notes. Maybe some product manager at Dahua is listening in to Ipcamtalk?

No Dahua firmware updates have been published since July 2022 for the HDW3441T-ZAS.

Is there any intelligence on how long Dahua typically provides firmware updates after initial product launch?
