I am using an 8 wireless camera Zosi NVR system. This one actually...

In a system like this, where the cameras are "paired" with the NVR out of the box, they literally just need to be powered on and they find the NVR. Everything works great; except I am switching to a PC and Blue Iris. My question is can I "disassociate" the 8 cameras from the NVR and use them as stand alone ip cameras, each with its own IP address? Has anyone tried anything like this before?

I'm afraid that if I start messing around with this and can't get it going, I won't be able to get the camera "paired" with the Zosi system again.

Because it's complete garbage.. add the 960p resolution and it's a no-brainer...
If it was working perfectly you would have needed blueiris... These low end Wi-Fi systems are bottom barrel and useless

@fenderman, Do you know of any decent quality Wi-Fi systems out yet? No way I'm throwing the crazy kind of money Arlo and similar want fo rtheir sub-par stuff.
I'm starting to see Wi-Fi systems pop up more at the box stores like Costco, ( but not a lot of real tests\reviews that don't just look like disguised marketing \ hype), I assume as an attempt to get some of the crazy market share of Arol and the likes.
A decent or even "Acceptable" level Wi-Fi system could be useful for non-security purposes.

There is no such thing as a decent wireless system. Run cable. If you insist on wifi, any camera can be made wifi using a cheap wifi bridge or powerline adapter.
