Interesting to note that it seems that the OCPD standard procedure is to only upload 480p resolution clips, as so far that is the best resolution I have seen from their channel on youtube.

Might have more chance from the facial pics.

The trend in the UK for a long time is burglars use stolen vehicles which are stolen by crime syndicates, re-number plated and then hired out on a weekly basis to other criminals, then re-plated when returned and re-hired to someone else!!! A full blown hire for criminals business.

Obviously that makes number plates useless for tracing perps as they're always false.

ah!

CaaS - Crime As A Service!

We have that in the USA also, normally those who claim to be doing everything in "service to the public"

Thanks for this , @mat200 ... If what's given to them is better res, maybe all it would take is a note from a certain "IPCT Contributor" to properly configure and increase not only the clarity of their upload but also the chances of an ID from the public.

Regarding the plate on the pickup, although it's very low-res and hard to accurately distinguish, to me it appears it could be a cardboard temp from a dealer.

These 2 bafoons are definitely going to get caught.
Let's hope VERY soon.
And BTW, they came pretty close to clipping that smaller Chevy s10 pickup that zipped by. Now THAT would have been interesting, eh?
