Date format Hikvision camera

We're using three Hikvision IP cameras. On the OSD, the date format is MM-DD-YYYY, which is not the standard on our location.

From the OSD settings, I can change the format to e.g. DD-MM-YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY. But whatever option I choose, nothing changes.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Some cameras can be browser dependent on the settings sticking. Try Internet Explorer or Pale Moon 32 bit browser.

Thanks. This might be the case, indeed. I also needed Internet Explorer on Windows 10 to enable motion detection on the cameras. I will try soon!

This was, by the way, because the browser plugin doesn't work on Safari on macOS Sierra (?) and later. Are there other ways to deal with that?

Are you using an nvr? If so maybe need to log onto cams directly and adjust there as well.
