Hi all , just after a bit of advice please, when looking at the 4 images in my screen I noticed that when I hover the mouse over the drop down boxes then click on streaming , the 2 top images are set to "S1" and the 2 bottom ones are set to "M" . What is the difference between these settings and should they both be set to the same and if so which one should I use . Hope I explained this ok as I am new to all this .

Sub Stream 1 vs. Main stream. I'm new to all this, but I believe, generally speaking, the main stream will be a higher bit rate than the sub stream and will be the 'full resolution' resolution of the camera (depending on your video settings) - this is what gets recorded to the NVR and will be the file quality when reviewing/saving footage. If you are just viewing live feeds on your computer, the main stream will take more resources to display. I believe typically you would want to have the substream feeds active when live viewing your cameras.
