Dahua SD card recommedations or has anyone used Dahua cloud?

Dahua SD card recommedations or has anyone used Dahua cloud? I have an installation where a recorder is not an option, just wondering what have people done in this scenario. Thanks

Local NAS? Or local FTP server?

I use SD card (32Gb or 64Gb) as backup and normally it record on my FTP server ( located >1000km far away ).

SD cards are good for a backup, edge recording. But in the Texas heat, humidity, sunshine, cheap cards last a few months, good quality cards last about a year. The ones I currently use are WD SD PURPLE, but I still kill them.
