Dahua PTZ1A225-HNR-XA issue changing default IP address

I just bought this cam-

and I can't get it to show up on my network. It won't let me change the default IP address in the config tool. What am I doing wrong? I thought this might be ideal for recording my owl nest and once the owlets start branching out. I need to get this cam up before they start nesting. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. The three amcrest cams I have were so much easier than this and my other Dahua 49225 or something like that. Thanks! Terri

Here's what we had to do in case others experience this problem: I set up a separate LAN with a different router (which I set to the default IP system for the camera). I hooked the camera to this LAN and, using a laptop, found the camera, logged in and reset the IP to match my home LAN/WAN. It fixed the problem. Just glad to have access to a second router and laptop so I didn't have to mess with my entire home network. This had to be done when installing the Dahua 49225 years ago as well.
