Has anyone used the Dahua PFB220c ceiling mount? It’s showing around a 30” drop and was curious if anyone knew If it can be cut to a shorter length?

I can’t tell from pics of the bottom piece is welded on or mechanically attached. Anyfirst hand experience would be great!
