So far I have installed 7 different kind of cctv systems with all NVR4108 recorders. Basically all is ok, but 4 of them suffer of random abnormal reboots.
Sometimes there are 2-3 days they are running fine, sometimes days when they boot 2-4 / times a day. In the logs anything common cannot be found.
Just when I look the recording bar, I can see that sometimes it can take even 10-15 minutes when recording starts again, which indicates that NVR freezes and
later boots itself? I thought overload, but searching the log I can see that reboot happens sometimes middle of the night when there is no user activity...

I have listed all my installations here, and when looking the list I can see two common things: all the recorders that have problems have newer FW than 29-05-15,
they have lot of users and many logins/logouts/liveviews per day. Also they have P2P connection.

1. NVR-4108 in K harbour. 4 x HFW4221E cameras powered by 4108 PoE. Firmware 3.201.0000.1.R, build 2016-4-9 (recently updated from 20-11-15). 18 users,
5-8 active daily. Server-side script pulling jpg image from one channel every 5 minutes. Occasional reboots, sometimes 3-5 days without reboot, then 1-2 days with 1-5 reboots / day. Installed Iqsocket in between the power supply and noticed no power outages have been registered in the period. Internet connection is done with 4G router. Most users are connecting via P2P.

2. NVR-4108 in A harbour. 2 x SD-59220HN-T domes, 1 x
HFW-4221E, 1 X Foscam bullet, 1 X Foscam wifi cameras. No PoE ports in use. All Dahua cameras are connected with external wifi network.
21 users, 3-6 active daily. Server-side script pulling jpg image from one channel every 10 minutes. Occasional reboots, sometimes 3-5 days without reboot, then 1-2 days with 1-5 reboots / day. Have no info about power outages but so far the staff has not registered any outages. Firmware 3.201.0000.0, build 2015-11-20. Internet connection is done with 3G router. Most users are connecting via P2P.

3. NVR-4108 in H farm. 2 x Planet IP-cameras connected, other of them with wifi. No PoE-ports used. 2 users, no big activity, NVR is mostly recording and left to do that and then checked if something happens. Firmware 3.201.0000.0, build 2015-11-20. Mostly running fine but noticed occasional reboots. Internet connection is done with 10/10 fiber. Users are connecting with P2P and via web in LAN.

4. NVR-4108 in B service. 3 x HFW-4300 cameras connected in PoE ports. No problems. Firware 3.200.0000.9, build 2015-5-29.
2 users with minimum login/logout activity. Internet connection with 8/1 ADSL.

5. NVR-4108 in L service. 3x HFW-4300 cameras connected in PoE-ports. No Problems. Firmware 3.200.0000.9, build 2015-5-29. 2 users with minimum login/logout activity.Internet connection with 4G router.

6. NVR-4108 in K service. 2 x HFW-4300 cameras connected in PoE ports. No Problems. Firmware 3.200.0000.9, build 2015-5-29. 2 users with minimum login/logout activity. Internet connection with 4G router.

7. NVR-4108 in H service. 2 X HFW4221E, 2 X HFW4421E cameras connected in PoE ports. Occasional reboots. Firmware 3.201.0000.1.R, build 2016-4-9. Internet connection with 8/1 ADSL. Users are connecting with P2P.

I tried to install 29-05-15 FW in the first setup, it went fine but then I noticed that there is no P2P in that FW version yet. Had to put back the newest one because most users could not login without P2P.
