Hello,

I setup a Dahua NVR with some cams. Following excellent advice, I got the PTZ working fine with autotrack.

But then I encountered some serious problems. Went thru the process of making sure NVR and all cams had the most recent bios. When I went to download the browser plugin for IPC-T5442T-ZE, AVG complained "threat blocked" and claimed "WebactiveX3.3.977837.o.exe was infected with IDP.Generic. I could not download the plugin for IPC-Color4K-X. ???

Further, I could not get the NVR to record the people or car events to the hard disk for the IPC-T5442T-ZE or the IPC-Color4K-X . Even tho they are both listed in the schedule, no files appear. It appears that only the SD49225XA-HNR PTZ will record to the disk.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
 
First off, do not update the cameras.

Especially the 49225 as you will lose autotracking if you update it.

As far as the AVG blocking, this type of software and files will not pass many antivirus algorithms. Part of the algorithm is how many people are using it and in the big scheme of things, the software and plugins for these types of cameras just do not have the critical mass to register in some antivirus software programs.

You can use a multiscanner that can show you it is safe.

You have to tell it to continue anyway.

The DVR claimed all cameras and the NVR were the most recent versions. Thanks for the heads up -- I won't update the PTZ.

I'll give the plugins a try .......

I did not want 24/7 recording so I turned off green recording. I turned on all other recording.

The only one recording is the PTZ (cam #1). Cam 2 and 3 are not recording at all even tho they are set to motion record. ???
 
Is your smart plan Ivs light bulb on? Or you haven’t set your rules correctly? You set schedule for D1 D2 & D3?
