Dahua NVR questions

Hi guys, I just moved in a new house and the previous owner left a Dahua NVR4108-P-4KS2 with 4 cameras. The problem is that when i go to 192.168.1.108 it asks me for username and password and I don't have them. What can I do? I don't want to bother the old owner, is there a way to reset the NVR or to use my username and password?

Also, I find the fan very noisy, I changed it with a Noctua but still it's very loud, can it be turned down in the setup?

Each NVR may have a different reset process. Check the manual for the correct instructions. Below is one example, but may not apply to your model.

Reset Button
You can always use the reset button on the mainboard to reset the Device to the factory
default settings.

Reset button is for some series products only.

Step 1 Disconnect the Device from power source, and then remove the cover panel. For
details about removing the cover panel.

Step 2 Find the reset button on the mainboard, and then connect the Device to the power
source again.

Step 3 Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
